Carrying a concealed weapon

Client has been charged with one count of First Degree Intentional Homicide, one count First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, one count False Imprisonment, one count Battery, and two counts Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Client ran estranged wife off road. She accused him of choking her and trying to smash her head. He denied this - was actually trying to help her out of accident. She recanted and admitted that she was hopeful that getting him convicted would leverage her position in their custody battle.

VENUE:    Brown County

RESULT:   Following jury trial, client was acquitted of Homicide and Endangerment charges. Was sentenced to 1 year jail with Huber and 3 years probation on other charges.

Firing - Discharging - A Firearm In A Public Place

Shooting

Client faced potential charges for sexual assault of a minor, shooting and false imprisonment.

RESULT: Case dismissed.

Shooting while children present

Client accused of shooting a gun into his ex-girl friend's house. Children were present and they presented an eyewitness that testified that client did it.

VENUE: Milwaukee County.

RESULT: Client received probation.

gun in public place - Disorderly conduct

Client was charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct based on pointing a gun at another driver while on the freeway. Client thought he was pointing it at his friend, but it was actually an undercover officer.

VENUE: Racine County

RESULT: Original charge was amended to county ordinance - Disorderly Conduct; client was ordered to pay $100.00 fine.
