In serving Of Counsel to Birdsall Law Offices, Attorney Lew Wasserman brings a wealth of experience to the Birdsall team.
A member of the State Bar of Wisconsin since 1980, Wasserman’s early practice focused on civil litigation before shifting to criminal defense in the early 1990s. Since then, having successfully argued dozens of cases in both state and federal court, Wasserman has built a reputation as a top flight trial and appellate attorney.
He is the 2008 recipient of the Advocate’s Award from the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL) and has been published in the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology.
Wasserman received a Bachelor of Arts in 1973 and a Master of Science in 1975 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He received a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 1979.
